Message	hood ever, from a US car manufacturer. The new hood is 6 layers of prepreg layup and is half the thickness of the similar Fiber Glass layup. The new hood can be fully cured in less then 10 minutes and ready for the production line. The new hood wieghs 10 pounds lighter then the fiberglass hood (was 29 pounds, now 19 pounds) The hood will come fully painted.
